My surrogacy journey began in 2025 with a lovely couple, I got to experience so many firsts and loved every second of being surrogate.
Becoming a surrogate has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. Carrying this precious baby has been an incredible privilege, knowing that every kick and every milestone brought another family closer to their dream of becoming parents. This experience has reminded me how powerful love, hope, and selflessness can be. I will always cherish the role I played in helping create a family.

Q and A with Tayla
What first led you to consider surrogacy?
I had two friends who were struggling with infertility and I personally did not know or understand fully until then how many people cannot have children and it opened my eyes and gave me the idea to be a surrogate.
How did your family and friends react when you shared your decision?
My family said “that’s a Tayla thing to do” , they were hesitant but fully on board after hearing my reasonings and how the journey would go.
What surprised you most about your surrogacy journey?
The bond that was created between me and the intended parents, and how normal the relationship feels between all parties after the delivery.
How did surrogacy impact you physically and emotionally?
Emotionally I felt a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment, at times I would feel stressed related to medical appointments and just wanting everything to go well which slowly went away and I felt very stress free after.
Is there anything you wish people understood better about surrogacy?
I wish people understood that surrogacy is act of love and not just giving up a baby, from the beginning of the journey, you know that the baby belongs to the intended parents and you are there to carry and love.
What advice would you give someone considering surrogacy?
Take your time and do your research. Make sure you’re becoming a surrogate for the right reasons and that you fully understand both the physical and emotional commitment. Ask lots of questions, choose an agency and medical team you trust, and lean on your support system. It can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.
How did the financial reward of surrogacy impact your family’s life?
The financial part of being a surrogate is very rewarding, for me I was able to put into my children’s financial future accounts and pay off many of bills while also being able to travel and not have such a money burden on my shoulders.
Would you do it again?
I 100% would do it a million times over again, just to see the family when they hold their precious baby.
